This weekend we drove south to see our daughter and son-in-love. One of the many joys of our weekend was watching them in their church.

Treasure. Pirates searched for it. Scavenger’s scour oceans for it. Bruno Mars sang about it. Robert Louis Stevenson wrote about it. Jesus taught about it.
When our children were little and we wanted their attention, we would put our hands on both sides of their faces so that they would have to give us undistracted eye contact. Why?
